Consultant Community Paediatrician with Specialist Interest in Neurodisability

South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Consultant Community Paediatrician with expertise in neurodisability to strengthen the delivery of a highly regarded service for children in Warwickshire.
This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated paediatrician to complement a team of supportive and experienced medical professionals in improving the health and well-being of children, young people and families we serve.
Multidisciplinary and interagency working will form a significant part of the role. Close clinical working will be required with members of the Warwickshire Pre-School Autism Service, Children’s Community Nursing Teams, Allied Health Professionals, CAMHS colleagues and colleagues in both acute and community settings; local and regional tertiary units.
In conjunction with the lead neurodisability colleague in the North the successful applicant will contribute to multi-disciplinary assessments and support service for pre-school children with suspected neurodevelopmental problems.
There is opportunity to develop a special interest should the successful applicant wish to do so within service needs. You will also actively contribute to the development of services for children within the organisation and future integrated care system in the local region.
