This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly forming team of Acute Physicians, as we expand our existing services and team in this area.

With an innovative, committed team making positive changes happen daily, there has never been a better time to join us here at Salisbury. We are seeking highly motivated, inspirational future leaders to drive our Acute Medicine area forward. Your role as a Consultant Physician in Acute Medicine is dedicated to ensuring effective and high quality acute care, an essential part in contributing to the reshaping of our front-door medicine services.

The applicant must have CCT in General Medicine or be within 6 months of obtaining it, with a good experience in acute medicine. We offer an attractive package with a programmed activity session each week for professional development in your specialty interest. Your sessions will be fully supported by the Clinical Lead of your specialty.

The clinical team are supported by junior medics, ANP’s, prescribing pharmacists, ward-based therapy and nursing support teams.

The Trust has medical students attending from the University of Southampton. A commitment to education and training will be an advantage.

We would welcome applications from those wanting to work flexibly or less than full time. Relocation assistant available (subject to terms and conditions).
