Panel Members. Genomic Test Evaluation Working Groups

NHS England is recruiting to a number of roles supporting the direct commissioning of clinical services.

The National Genomic Test Directory determines the genomic tests offered by the NHS across the country, from single gene analysis to whole genome sequencing. NHS England is recruiting up to eight expert panel members to each of three working groups covering a) rare and inherited diseases, b) cancer and c) pharmacogenomics.

The following expertise is sought for each working group: scientists and clinicians with experience of evaluating and reviewing genomic testing evidence, and health economists. The groups are expected to meet in person at least twice annually and take part in regular teleconference / web-ex meetings.

Panel member roles are non-remunerated.

For more information and how to apply please contact: england.genomics@nhs.net

Role discussion on Genomics with Professor Dame Sue Hill, Chief Scientific Officer, SRO for Genomics, NHS England can be arranged.

Closing date: Midnight on the 26th October 2019.
