Aneurin Bevan University Health Board are seeking a number of exceptional high calibre of experienced General Practitioners to work with our multi-professional team members to promote and develop our general practices to the highest level.

You will be passionate about healthcare delivery, aspiring to make a difference for deprived communities and be keen to inspire, develop and work as part of the primary healthcare team. We encourage enthusiasm and innovation and are particularly interested in candidates who express a strong desire for clinical leadership to enact change and continuous improvement.

For these positions, you will already be fully registered with the GMC and hold a Licence to Practice and be on the GMC GP Register.

Clinical Lead - General Practitioner – Salary up to £120,000 per annum/pro rata

Salaried General Practitioners with Management Responsibilities - Salary up to £90,928 + responsibility allowance (£15,000) per annum/pro rata

Salaried General Practitioners - Salary up to £90,928 per annum/pro rata

Senior Retainer General Practitioners - Salary up to £90,928 per annum/pro rata 

Free parking is available across all Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Sites.

These positions involve Regulated Activity with children and/or adults as defined by the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act (amended by the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012) and the following checks will be undertaken following any conditional offer:

  • Enhanced check with barred list information, including
  • - an adults and children’s barred list check
