Consultant in Orthogeriatrics
Role Description: This replacement substantive appointment forms part of a reconfiguration of services at HHFT which includes our acquisition of an onsite 17 bed rehabilitation facility. The appointee will work in partnership with a forward looking and enthusiastic Orthopaedic department. There will be no commitment to the general medical on call rota.

Who we are:
Our service aims to deliver gold standard care for fracture neck of femur and elderly trauma patients. The current reconfiguration of our services includes the acquisition of an onsite bespoke 17 bed rehabilitation facility. The appointee will join an orthogeriatric consultant team supported by clinical nurse specialists, a middle grade and junior doctors. We currently admit approximately 500 neck of femur patients per year.
We have an enthusiastic and engaged Orthopaedic Consultant team who will work alongside the appointee to help deliver best practice care.
