This job is for a Consultant Gastroenterologist. The job is a full time post comprising of 10 Programmed Activities (PAs). We are seeking an enthusiastic colleague with endoscopy expertise to join our team of 8 gastroenterologists based largely at Frimley Park Hospital. Experience of one or more of ERCP/EUS; Advanced therapeutic endoscopy (EMR, HALO radiofrequency ablation) and capsule endoscopy and enteroscopy, is desirable. The endoscopy department is run by the medical directorate out of a 5 roomed dedicated unit with ERCP/EUS lists run in our interventional radiology department fully supported by Anaesthetics.

The successful candidate will share the care of the Gastroenterology in-patients at Frimley (currently on 2 weeks and participate in the GIB/Gastro on call Rota. There is no GIM on call component to this post There are ample academic opportunities, strong links with the University of Surrey, ongoing involvement in multiple clinical trials and an engaged R&D department
