MD Research Fellowship in Head and Neck Proton Beam Therapy
This post is suitable for someone who wishes to gain a doctorate level research degree in proton beam therapy for head and neck cancer. It is suited to applicants who hold a CCT in Clinical Oncology and advanced level clinical oncology specialty trainee competencies in head and neck cancer. The candidate will already have clinical experience or Fellowship level training in proton beam therapy.
Candidates must hold full General Medical Council (GMC) registration and have International English Language Testing System (IELTS) proficiency at the time of post commencement, as appropriate. The Fellowship is a two-year, full-time position (unless otherwise agreed).
The salary is payable in line with NHS experience, non-NHS experience is at the discretion of the Trust upon request. The base salary currently ranges between £31,818 - £42,126 per annum (pro rata). Candidates at post-CCT / post-FRCR level will be considered up to £50,068 per annum (pro rata) dependent upon experience. There is no on-call commitment attached to this post.
