NHS Ayrshire and Arran is making a significant investment in radiological services as part of a programme of improvement supporting the redesign of "front door" emergency services and delivery of the 18 weeks referral to treatment standard. The aim is to enhance local service infrastructure to deliver timely and integrated radiological support to clinical teams.

Two Consultant Radiology posts are offered at either University Hospital Crosshouse or University Hospital Ayr with an option of cross-site working.

The successful candidates will be encouraged to take on a Specialist Interest(s) which complements the existing department. Sub-speciality interest in Musculoskeletal Radiology, Breast Radiology, Vascular and Non-Vascular Intervention, Chest, Head and Neck, Urology, Nuclear Medicine, GI and Oncology will be welcome and will be joining a team of 18 Radiologists working across our sites.

Applicants will be appropriately experienced and hold Full GMC Registration with a current Licence to Practice and be on the GMC Specialist Register or be within 6 months of the anticipated award of CCT/CESR by the date of interview.
