CONSULTANT POSTS IN OPHTHAMOLOGY

Due to exciting service expansion we are currently looking for FOUR consultants to become part of our nationally renowned ophthalmic service at the Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust

Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Ophthalmologist in all sub-specialties including Glaucoma, Cornea, Medical Retina and General Ophthalmology.

The successful candidates will join our expanding Department of Ophthalmology, with 16 Ophthalmic consultants, covering a wide range of specialist interests. 

Applicants should possess full GMC registration, FRCOphth (or equivalent) and either already be on the Specialist Register or be within 6 months of receiving their Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) at the time of interview.

The successful candidates will work alongside a team of trainees, sharing clinical duties and will take part in the on-call rotas.  In addition participation in regular Departmental and regional teaching is expected along with participation in clinical audit.
