Providing Partnership Services in Bedfordshire, Essex, Luton and Suffolk
EPUT is looking to appoint an enthusiastic consultant to work in the east specialist psychosis team who provide community services for patient with a diagnosis of psychosis. There are 2.5 consultants who jointly support the team dividing the catchment via GP practices. The team currently offer initial assessments of first episode patients, ongoing care of newly diagnosed patients and those suffering from chronic psychosis or bipolar mood disorder. The consultant’s role is to support the MDT in providing this care and assessment and is able to offer rapid assessment, care planning, pharmacological and psychological treatments. The post gives opportunities to work closely with patients with psychosis and their families.

You must have full GMC registration and be on the Specialist Register, with an appropriate CCT or be within six months of obtaining your CCT on the date of the AAC.
