Specialty Doctor in General Adult Psychiatry

10 Sessions per week

Based Hywel Da Centre, Chepstow

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

The appointee will become a valuable and senior member of the community mental health team and respond to referrals and requests from members who need advice in the day to day management of adult patients in any setting within the borough.

 

The post holder will work in close co-operation with, and support other clinical, medical professional and managerial colleagues in providing high quality healthcare to the Health Board’s patients.

 

Free parking is available across all Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Sites.

 

This position involves Regulated Activity with Adults as defined by the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act (amended by the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012) and the following checks will be undertaken following any conditional offer:

 

Enhanced check with barred list information, includingan adults barred list check

 

Applicants must hold or be eligible to hold full registration and a licence to practice with the GMC.
