By recruiting five additional consultants across the Health Board, we will strengthen the Trauma & Orthopaedics service reflecting the changing needs of our patients to deliver the care that really makes a difference to our local communities. This is a great opportunity to work in a progressive and expanding department with a strong support network. The expansion of this specialty will also enable the development of regional sub-specialty networks to further enhance the service. You will have the opportunity to shape and deliver our enhanced service.

The successful candidates will form part of an Orthopaedic Consultant Team in Ysbyty Glan Clwyd Hospital Bodelwyddan, Ysbyty Gwynedd Bangor Hospital and Ysbyty Maelor Wrexham

- Well established links with the ‘Robert Jones Agnes Hunt Hospital’ in Gobowen, Shropshire, Walton Centre in Liverpool and the Royal Stoke Hospital
- With 3 surgical centres geographically placed across North Wales and through more integrated working practices we believe we can improve patients outcomes and experiences.
The three main hospitals of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board are situated across North Wales at approximately 40 miles intervals and located just off the A55, which is the main expressway for North Wales.
