With a population at the last census in excess of 260,000, Bolton can claim to be Britain’s biggest town. The Foundation Trust is now looking to recruit to one of its big roles, Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine.
You’ll be joining a highly motivated and vibrant team of 34 Consultants and six SAS doctors and trainees.
The Royal Bolton Hospital has 671 inpatient beds, with the Critical Care
facility consisting of eight ICU and ten HDU beds.
Bed occupancy levels are high, with approximately 1,350 admissions per year, 430 of which require level 3 care.
Being so closely located to the UK’s ‘second capital’ provides ample opportunity for engaging with Manchester’s lively and diverse vibe.
Manchester and its surrounding boroughs are well renowned for their choice of housing and excellent primary and secondary schools. It has an international airport making connections to Europe and further afield easy and with the beautiful Lake District, Peak’s and Wales all within an hour’s drive there are no end to a range of holidays and outward bound activities.
