Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Otolaryngology
This post is available from August 2020. The successful applicant will benefit from extensive exposure to paediatric airway disorders within the NSD-designated Scottish National Service for Complex Paediatric Airway Reconstruction. The Department also undertakes a varied workload of secondary- and tertiary-level paediatric otolaryngology including head and neck surgery, chronic otitis media surgery, bone-anchored hearing aids, and audiological medicine. Applications are sought primarily from individuals who hold a CCT or international equivalent in Otolaryngology and who are looking to gain additional paediatric experience prior to taking up a consultant post.
This post also carries approval for Specialist Registrar training from the SAC, so individuals not yet in possession of their CCT are welcome to apply as long as they currently hold a National Training Number in otolaryngology and have written support from their programme director and postgraduate dean to take time out of programme. For further information please call Mr A Clement on 0141 451 6526 or Mr David Wynne, on 0141 451 6598.
