Addenbrooke's Hospital

Applications are invited for two posts as Consultant in Acute Medicine at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Acute Medicine provides clinical care predominantly in the acute care block. On the ground floor, we have a unique ‘shared front door’ model where acute and emergency medicine doctors work together assessing and treating patients referred by GPs and who present directly to hospital.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the care of Acute Medicine in-patients, supervise the running of the acute medical take in the Emergency Department and work in the Ambulatory Care Unit as well as contribute to teaching and training in a leading hospital.

You will be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT in Acute Medicine or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview.

Applications are welcomed from those unable to work full time for personal reasons or those wishing to job-share.
