Trust Doctor in Urological/Vascular Surgery (FY1)
The department is part of the Surgical Division. The Department provides in-patient Urology services from Canterbury with out-patient and diagnostic services at peripheral sites.
East Kent offers good housing and schools, fine surrounding countryside and coastal environs and is within easy reach of London, the Channel Tunnel and airports. The upgraded rail link to London via Ashford is now open.
As an FY1 you will work as part of the Urology and Vascular team working 6 months in each for routine duties and will primarily be responsible as first on-call for wards in Urology, Vascular & General Surgery at the Kent & Canterbury Site. Applicants should have full GMC registration, 6 months each of vascular and urology experience would be desirable.
The post will incorporate a 1:6 on call rota.
