At St Ann’s we are proud of our heritage of providing excellent care to those living with or affected by life limiting illnesses and as we approach our 50th anniversary we are looking forward to continue that care and sustaining St Ann’s for future generations.

Our patients lie at the heart of everything we do and we need talented and committed people to provide their care and to ensure St Ann’s is fit for the future.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Are you an enthusiastic, motivated doctor looking to further develop specialist palliative care skills?
  • Can you demonstrate excellent communication skills, compassion and motivation?
  • You must be passionate about our patients and a collaborative colleague
  • Most importantly, you must be wholeheartedly committed to and motivated by the purpose and values of St Ann’s Hospice.

We are developing our workforce to meet the demands of a modern specialist palliative care organisation and this is an exciting time to join an ambitious, much loved charity and help us achieve our goals.  If you are looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to make a difference we would love to hear from you.

One programmed activity of each post is in respect of on call duties. The posts are equally suitable for experienced palliative medicine physicians and postgraduates wishing to gain more experience after core training.

An Enhanced DBS Check will be required.  The cost of which is covered by the hospice. Informal enquiries to Dr Philip Lomax are welcomed (0161 702 5404).

St Ann’s Hospice is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults at risk and children.
