Consultant Histopathologist / Cellular Pathologist Full Time 10 PA, Permanent
Consultant Cellular Pathologists /Histopathologists with interest in Dermatopathology, Gastrointestinal Pathology, Non-gynaecological cytology and Autopsy.
Applications are invited for a substantive consultant post in the department of Cellular Pathology at Barts Health NHS Trust. This is a replacement mixed speciality post however applicants should have/ be prepared to develop specialist interests in at least one of skin and gastrointestinal pathology. Applicants with additional interest in non-gynaecological cytology and autopsy pathology are encouraged to apply. The post is based in the state-of-the-art Pathology and Pharmacy building at the Royal London hospital in Whitechapel. Cellular pathology services are provided along specialist lines. The department provides a high quality service and the appointee will be a full and active member of the team.
Applicants are required to hold full GMC registration with a licence to practice and to be on the GMC’s Specialist Register or within six months of their expected date of receipt of a CCT at the time of interview.
