This is an exciting opportunity for a medical Specialty Doctor with a broad range of experience to join our orthogeriatric service, which sits within the Department of Medicine for Older People.
The orthogeriatric service provided by St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals sees over 400 patients aged >60years with hip fracture each year and performs well in terms of the key performance indicators recorded in the National Hip Fracture Database.
The Department of Medicine for Older People will actively encourage the successful candidate to pursue their career ambition. There is a well-developed teaching/training programme with excellent postgraduate facilities.
