If yes, then this post is for you. We are looking for a substantive Consultant in Urology based within the Surgical Directorate

Surgical Service at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a Consultant Urologist with vision and leadership skills to join the our current team of enthusiastic surgeons, at a time when the Trust and NHS is facing transformation, challenge and opportunity.

The post will be based at Airedale Hospital. Airedale NHS Foundation Trust serves a population which extends over a wide and diverse geographical and demographic area, from the Yorkshire Dales, to the small market town of Skipton, Ilkley, and urban Keighley. The hospital lies between Keighley and Skipton, only 10 miles from the multicultural city of Bradford. Airedale and is a national leader in the development and provision of Telemedicine

If you are successful, as a condition of your employment you must provide us with your original DBS Disclosure Certificate prior to commencing in post as part of the pre-employment check process unless you are registered with the DBS Update Service in which case you can provide us with your surname, date of birth and certificate number to enable us to complete a status check.

If you are offered a position which requires you to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the Trust will administer the DBS check on your behalf and will recover the cost (Enhanced £44 or Standard £26) from your first full months salary. This is a condition of your employment.

You are encouraged to participate in the DBS Update Service and pay the £13 cost per year
