Scottish Adult Congenital Cardiac Service (SACCS)
Available from August 19 - August 20
You will be based within the West of Scotland Regional Heart and Lung Centre at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital in Clydebank. The hospital is the regional tertiary centre for cardiac surgery and complex
electrophysiology for the West of Scotland and the largest volume PCI centre in the UK. It also houses the Scottish National Advanced Heart Failure Service, Scottish Adult Congenital Cardiac Service and the Scottish Pulmonary Vascular Unit.
This Fellowship offers excellent opportunities for clinical experience in Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD). In addition the post allows experience in acute cardiology care by participation in the on-call rota. This post would be suitable for a range of applicants including Specialist Trainees seeking subspecialty experience. Applicants will be expected to hold MRCP (UK) or equivalent qualification, be registered with the GMC, and have relevant experience in General Medicine and Cardiology.
