Consultant Psychiatrist Eating Disorders - (10 PA's - Permanent)
This is an exciting new Consultant Psychiatrist post in Eating Disorders (Full time -1 WTE) in the well established Eating Disorders Service, South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will provide clinical work specifically in the inpatient unit of the Adult Eating Disorders Service in the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM). The post holder will jointly work with clinical academic consultants and the multidisciplinary team. Assessments include inpatients, step-up patients and potential future or current inpatients who are to be seen in other psychiatric or in general hospitals. This post, as a new post will take responsibility for at least 8-10 in patients and will mainly see South East London Patients. The unit admits 50-70 patients per year.
