Senior Clinical Fellows to join

  • The Paediatric Haemato-Oncology team
  • The Paediatric Neurology team

Junior Clinical Fellow to join

  • The Paediatric Gastroenterology team

All these posts are based at the Royal London hospital which is part of Barts Health NHS Trust from March 2019 for 6 months with further possible scope for extension

The Senior clinical fellow post is suitable for a paediatric trainee who has passed MRCPCH Part 2 written as a minimum, ideally full MRCPCH, with a minimum of 6 months UK Paediatric experience is required

The Junior clinical fellow is suitable for trainee’s who have completed their foundation training and are keen to take up paediatrics or have had some exposure to paediatrics in their foundation years

The posts will be based at The Royal London Hospital which provides one of the largest acute paediatric services and paediatric trauma services in London; with over 110 Paediatric and neonatal, surgical and medical beds. The hospital is the Tertiary referral centre for Paediatric medical specialities (endocrinology, gastroenterology, haematology, oncology and respiratory medicine), surgical specialities and provides the Regional Neonatal Unit with neonatal surgery and the regional Neonatal Transport Service (NETS).

The Paediatric Critical Care Unit has 6 beds and provides paediatric intensive care (PIC level 2) and high dependency care for children in the North-East of London. The unit has a particular interest and experience in paediatric trauma.

Individuals will require full GMC Registration.
