Consultant Radiologist – Special interest in Breast Imaging
£77,913 - £105,042 per annum
Applications are invited for the above post; to join our established multidisciplinary team working in a new built hospital with state of the art equipment. This is an additional post working alongside three existing Consultants providing a full spectrum of breast services including MRI, ultrasound guided intervention, stereotactive wire placements and biopsies. The post would involve both symptomatic and screening work. There may not be a need for an on call component for this post.
The post will maintain and increase our current establishment and allow further development of the imaging service including extended day and weekend working.

We are a Major Trauma Centre and the Mersey Regional Burns Unit.

The Radiology Department operates a 1 in 15 on call rota; with full SPR cover and separate interventional rota. Depending on the level of commitment to the breast service there may not be a necessary commitment to provide out of hours on call cover with this post.
Applicants must have full GMC Registration and must be on the Specialist Register or be within six months of their CCT from the date of the interview.
