National Clinical Fellow (Radiotherapy), Radiotherapy Learning Healthcare Programme, NHS England
Applications are welcomed for this new high profile national clinical fellow role, which is co-sponsored by NHS England and the Royal College of Radiologists. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in an innovative programme in one of the priority areas for the NHS in the Long Term Plan.
The successful applicant will be working alongside both clinical experts in the field and national organisations who play a critical role in the shape and future of radiotherapy services in England. You will have the opportunity to spend time developing radiotherapy policies and learning about, and contributing to, the work of the RCR as well as supporting the newly established Radiotherapy Learning Healthcare System. You will facilitate 11 english radiotherapy networks to identify and engage in new research and to test and implement best practice on the ground. The Clinical Fellow will have a relevant clinical qualification / registration and ideally significant experience in a radiotherapy related field.
Regular travel to and within London is required (an alternative local main work base may be possible). Tenure will be 1-2 years by mutual agreement, either on a secondment or fixed term contract basis.
