SALARY: £77,913 - £105,042 pro rata per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for dynamic and motivated individuals to join the enthusiastic consultants in the acute paediatric service at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. The department offers a supportive and encouraging environment in which to develop as a professional.
The substantive posts have been developed due to the reconfiguration within the acute paediatric team. We would welcome applicants with sub-specialty interests to complement the existing team.
Applicants should possess, or be within 6 months of receiving, a CCT at the time of the advisory appointments committee.
The appointment will be on the basis of the new consultant contract laid down by the Hospital Medical and Dental Staff Terms and Conditions of Service.

Any offer of employment for this post will be subject to the Trust being satisfied that the result of an enhanced disclosure of criminal convictions, including checks for the Protection of Children/Vulnerable adults, does not indicate that you are unsuitable for the post.
If you are successful, as a condition of your employment you must provide us with your original DBS Disclosure Certificate prior to commencing in post as part of the pre-employment check process unless you are registered with the DBS Update Service in which case you can provide us with your surname, date of birth and certificate number to enable us to complete a status check.
If you are offered a position which requires you to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the Trust will administer the DBS check on your behalf and will recover the cost (Enhanced £44) from your first full month’s salary. This is a condition of your employment.
You are encouraged to participate in the DBS Update Service and pay the £13 cost per year.

Your employment as a doctor brings with it an obligation to engage with all the processes of revalidation, job planning and appraisal.
