Forward Thinking Birmingham (FTB) is a ground-breaking mental health partnership established to revolutionise mental health care for 0-25 year olds, by integrating the expertise of Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust (BWC) with the Priory Group, Simplify Health UK and The Children’s Society. A single point of access is available for GPs, schools, local authorities, children, young people, young adults and families, to a wide range of mental health support options, from flexible community and home-based support, to inpatient and urgent care.

We are seeking a Locum Consultant to provide medical leadership and work collaboratively with a professional, highly skilled multi-disciplinary team, in the assessment and treatment of community patients from 18 years of age up until their 25th birthday.

This position requires full GMC registration. Access to a car and a current full drivers’ licence is desirable.

The successful applicant will be employed by Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust. As well as working within the ground-breaking FTB service, there are a number of other benefits including a strong commitment to continuous professional development.
