Clinical Fellow (Registrar level) in Paediatrics and Neonates:
Applications are invited for paediatric/neonatal registrar posts, ASAP at the Newham University Hospital in the North East of London, England. These posts are initially for 12 months and are extendable. Currently, there are 3.0 WTE vacancies for these Registrar posts
The post holder will be based at Newham University Hospital which provides acute general paediatrics and neonatal (level II) service to one of Britain’s most diverse, fastest growing and youngest populations.
Paediatric department has 18 bedded paediatric ward with two bedded well equipped HDU unit. Also 6 bedded day care ward for day cases and minor day surgery for children over 5 years of age.
Neonatal unit is level II, caring for babies born > 27 weeks and has close working relation with network tertiary unit at Royal London Hospital. Neonatal Unit has 23 beds including 2 intensive care and 4 HDU beds.
Department enjoys separate neonatal and paediatric consultant, middle grade and SHO cover round the clock.
Individuals will require full GMC Registration and it is desirable to hold MRCPCH or equivalent.
The successful applicant would join a full shift middle grade rota.
