Applications are invited for this exciting opportunity in Cystic Fibrosis (CF) in a dynamic Respiratory Department based in the City of London. The post of Clinical Fellow in Adult Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is based in the Department of Respiratory Medicine at St Bartholomew’s Hospital (SBH), Barts Health NHS Trust and was created to improve cover for the expanding adult CF service. The successful candidate will join an experienced multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive care for adults with CF attending the Barts Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre. The postholder will also support the Non-CF Bronchiectasis service.
You will be joining a department of ten full time Respiratory Consultants, two part time Consultants, three Acute Respiratory consultants (based at Royal London site) and three SpRs including a CF SpR. St Bartholomew’s Hospital provides Specialist Respiratory Medicine Services. Acute and General Respiratory medicine is provided by the consultants and additional SpRs on the Royal London Hospital site. The department has research links with Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary, University of London.
You must hold full registration with the General Medical Council and preferably have at least one year’s experience in Respiratory Medicine at CMT level or higher. MRCP or equivalent is essential. SCE in Respiratory Medicine is desirable. Previous experience in Cystic Fibrosis or Non-CF Bronchiectasis is desirable but not essential.

This is a one year fixed term position. This post is unbanded, but there is the possibility of joining the specialist respiratory on-call rota at Registrar level.
