We have an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in a Locum consultant post in Brighton and Sussex University hospital. There is the opportunity to work with a growing team with the infrastructure already in place and access to all drugs including those recently licensed this year.
The post holder will also be given the opportunity to be a PI for clinical trials and teaching at the university. There are opportunities to collaborate with our local academic Neurologists. We are coming to an exciting time in our development as we plan to move to a brand new state-of-the-art facilities including a 30 bedded unit on the Brighton site in early 2021. This will give the opportunity to expand the service to reach out further across the whole of Sussex.

If you have already have your CCT please confirm when you will be on the GMC Specialist Register. Please be aware you only have 12 months from your CCT to join the specialist registrar otherwise you will have to go through the CESR Route.
In addition to supplying us with your referee details for the last 3 years please also provide us with the contact details of your Responsible Officer for Appraisal and Revalidation in January 2019, The Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) published its report following its recent inspection of Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals (BSUH). This showed a significant improvement in our rating to the second-highest possible: ‘Good’. It also rated the Trust as ‘Outstanding’ for caring. Princess Royal Hospital (within BSUH) was rate ‘Good’ across the board, and also ‘Outstanding’ for caring across the Medical areas. This is testament to the hard work currently underway at our hospital and provides an excellent opportunity for the successful post holders and future colleagues to come and bring their expertise to further develop and innovate.
