Launceston General Hospital
Tasmanian Health Service
Tasmanian Health Service seeks a full-time staff specialist in endocrinology (VMO / fractional staff appointment to enable private practice will also be considered) commencing asap for a period of 3 years with the possibility to extend. The Launceston General Hospital is a 300-bed public hospital offering all acute medical services. It is co-located with the Launceston Clinical School (University of Tasmania). You will have the opportunity to develop your own subspecialty interest within a busy diabetes/general endocrinology practice, carry out clinical research through the hospital’s research foundation, and participate in medical student teaching and the FRACP training program. Interest in leading the development of the hospital’s inpatient diabetes care service or integrated community diabetes service would be an advantage.
