Rochdale Infirmary

The Bury & Rochdale Care Organisation includes Fairfield General Hospital, Rochdale Infirmary and the Integrated Community Services of Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale. There are eight directorates within the CO; Emergency & Urgent Care Directorate (Bury), General & Specialist Medicine Directorate (Bury), Elective Orthopaedic & ENT Directorate (Bury), Gastroenterology Directorate (Bury, Clinical Support Services (Bury), HMR Integrated Neighbourhood Teams Directorate (Rochdale), HMR Urgent Care and Intermediate Tier Services Directorate (Rochdale), Ophthalmology Directorate (Rochdale). 

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Consultant to join our busy and dynamic team at Rochdale Infirmary covering the areas of Acute Medicine on the Clinical Assessment Unit and Oasis Unit, and ambulatory care. There would also be the opportunity for this to be a rotational post between Rochdale Infirmary and Fairfield General Hospital Acute Medical Unit. 

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with ambition and vision to join our team. You should be a team player with a strong clinical background. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help lead service developments and develop clinical leadership across the Health and Social Care System.
