Expressions of interest are sought for Consultant Histopathologists who have established sub-specialty experience and expertise to join a large, highly specialised and dynamic team of consultants providing remote cellular pathology reporting services for Source BioScience.  Significant recent growth of the diagnostic services provided by Source BioScience has led to the necessity to increase the breadth and number of consultants within the reporting team, led by our Medical Director Prof. Ian Ellis.

Source BioScience receives an increasingly large and varied workload, supported by an extensive network of sub-specialised pathologists.   Expressions of interest are welcome from pathologists within all specialties, (particularly those with an interest in Gastrointestinal, Urological and Dermatopathology), for remote reporting services allowing individuals to enhance their overall earning capabilities. The workload is varied and can be balanced and flexible to complement your current working commitments.

Expressions of interest are also encouraged from those wishing to partake in on site reporting activities at our Nottingham laboratory, for example during periods of annual leave, career break sabbaticals, regular sessional commitments or on a more substantive long-term basis.

The pathology department at Source BioScience is growing rapidly, and has recently invested significantly to increase capacity, including within digital and molecular pathology, in order to continue to meet the needs of our service users.

Informal enquiries are most welcome, and more information can be provided on request. Please contact Neil Ryan (Operations Director) on 0115 9739034 or by clicking the Apply button.  Written expressions of interest can also be posted, alongside a current CV, to Neil Ryan, Source BioScience, 1 Orchard Place, Nottingham Business Park, Nottingham, NG8 6PX.

Source BioScience provides a cellular pathology sampling, testing and specialist reporting service to support the needs of both the public and private sector.  Our service is highly regarded with a large team of specialists incorporating a number the UK’s leading Consultant Pathologists, led by our Medical Director Professor Ian Ellis.
