We currently have the following Consultant post (Pay Scale: £77,913 - £105,042) on offer within Psychiatry of Intellectual Disabilities.

 

1wte Consultant based at Heathcote House, Royal Leamington Spa

 

This post arises as a result of the retirement of a current consultant and has been revised with a reduction of the catchment area population. This post is based in the historic town of Royal Leamington Spa and provides a service to the surrounding population of Stratford and Warwick alongside a well-established community team. There are 5 other community psychiatrists in the Trust. There is an active peer group of over 10 consultants in the Trust

 

Applicants are required to be on the Specialist Register for Psychiatry, have full registration and licence to practice with the GMC, have a CCT in Psychiatry (or be within 6 months of obtaining one at the date of interview), be eligible or have AC/section 12 approval.

 

You will need to have a valid driving license and access to an appropriate means of independent transport commensurate with travelling required to fulfil the role.

 

CWPT is a teaching Trust with close links to Warwick Medical School. The post holder will be expected to take part in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. The post holder will also be expected to participate in the necessary supporting professionals activities such as audits in order to work towards successful Revalidation. The Trust is committed to the Continuing Professional Development of all doctors and appropriate study leave and funding will be granted. 

 

We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, suitably qualified and work well in a multidisciplinary team.
