Consultant Cardiologist with an interest in Intervention
Full time (10 PAs) with the option of an additional PA
We are looking for a colleague with enthusiasm, strong self-motivation and the skills necessary to contribute to the development of our patient-centred service, ensuring we, as a team, deliver our overall Trust vision of Best Care for Everyone. The post-holder will join eleven Consultants and an Associate Specialist to support provision of a comprehensive cardiac service to the county of Gloucestershire.
The post holder will join the team at an exciting time, with plans in place to expand our Primary PCI services to 24hours 7days a week. The post holder will provide subspecialty skills in intervention, supporting the services to deliver diagnostic coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty, pressure wire studies, IVUS and rotational atherectomy.
The post will be based at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital or Cheltenham General Hospital, with full participation in cross county activities and service planning.
