Consultant in Paediatric Oncology
Applications are invited for the post of substantive Consultant in Paediatric Oncology (10 PA) at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH).
The successful applicant for this replacement post will join the established team of 4 full-time Paediatric Oncologists (including this post) and one University Lecturer together with three Paediatric Haematologists, along with one Palliative Care Consultant, in providing a tertiary service to children in the East of England Region.
The Cambridge Paediatric Haematology/Oncology Centre is one of the larger Primary Treatment Centres in the UK and currently receives around 150 new referrals per year for childhood malignancy, treated within a purpose built unit at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. Most related specialties, including laboratory services, Radiotherapy, Paediatric Intensive Care and Paediatric Neurosurgery are available on site.
You will be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a Paediatric Oncology or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview. Applications are welcomed from those unable to work full time for personal reasons or those wishing to job-share.
