Public Health England’s Screening QA Service (SQAS) wishes to appoint a Regional Head of Screening Quality Assurance - Consultant in Public Health to join their screening QA service senior management team. Applications are welcome from individuals who wish to job share or work part time.
SQAS is part of the Screening Division within Public Health England. It is an integrated service based in the four regions across England. As Regional Head of Quality Assurance you will be accountable for the delivery of a high quality, standardised, consistent Quality Assurance (QA) service across all NHS screening programmes, within a defined PHE region. You will be responsible for ensuring that all serious incidents or serious concerns about NHS Screening Programmes are dealt with effectively and are escalated both within PHE and to partners where appropriate.
You will have extensive knowledge and experience in screening alongside strong leadership and management skills. You will have experience in change management and be an effective team player at a senior level.
