Consultant in Rheumatology

The successful candidate will form part of the well-established
Rheumatology multi-disciplinary team, and is expected to have an interest in both research and teaching. This post is suitable for job share applicants and candidates wishing to work less than full time will be fully considered.
The Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre is one of four teaching hospitals that comprise the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We have a world-wide reputation for excellence in orthopaedic, rheumatology, sport and exercise medicine, rehabilitation and musculoskeletal radiology and we provide both routine and specialist services in all areas.
Rheumatology specialist services include vasculitis, connective tissue disease, metabolic and rare bone disease and transitional services for adolescent rheumatology.
The Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre maintains a distinguished medical and nursing tradition since its beginning in 1872. The appointee will be expected to work closely with existing colleagues in Rheumatology, sport and exercise medicine and orthopaedics across all trust sites and be committed to cross site working.
