Clinical Research Fellow x3

We have 3 vacancies for a Clinical Research Fellow. The post holders will undertake a 3 year PhD funded by the BHF Research Excellence Award in Cardiovascular Science & Medicine.

The PhD will focus on research related to heart failure and associated cardiovascular conditions. An emphasis is placed on mechanistic and translational research of clinical relevance. The successful applicants will have the opportunity to work with outstanding researchers in heart failure & vascular biology.

As a Clinical Research Fellow (CRF), these posts will allow the development of research skills and production of data which the CRF may use to compete for external funding. Although research will form the major component of these posts, participation in associated clinical duties and a small amount of teaching will be incorporated into the job plan.
