We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic colleague to develop the existing cardiology services at NWAFT, a Trust that merged two years ago. This is a replacement post to meet the needs of an expanding local population. The successful candidate will be based at Peterborough City and Hinchingbrooke Hospitals. The successful applicant will join the current integrated and supportive team of 10 Consultants, Specialist Nurses, Cardiac Physiologists and Catheter Lab Staff, driving forwards excellence in local cardiology provision.

Applicants with interest in Angiography and/ or Pacing are welcome.

NWAFT provides acute care to Peterborough and Huntingdon as well as many surrounding picturesque towns and villages within Lincolnshire, Rutland, Cambridgeshire and Leicestershire. The 650-bedded Peterborough City Hospital has close links with Cambridge and Leicester medical schools and is part of the Eastern Clinical Research Network. Hinchingbrooke Hospital has 207 beds including a modern treatment centre and works closely with Cambridge Medical School. Working within the area of Peterborough, Stamford and Huntingdon affords any individual the benefits of country living, whilst being within easy access or commute of London, Cambridge and Birmingham.
