Chair – National Institute for Health and Care Excellence
The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care is seeking to appoint a Chair to the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
NICE provides evidence-based national guidance and advice to improve health and social care.

The new chair will need to be an effective public communicator, able to command the respect of other leaders, and be committed to ensuring that the patient and public voice is effectively and openly represented in NICE’s work. Experience in clinical or public health practice would be desirable.
Remuneration will be £74,000 per annum for a time commitment of 2.5 to 3 days per week, and will be for up to a maximum of four years.
