Lambeth Alliance Rehabilitation Team & Turrets
6 PAs - Substantive
South London and Maudsley is committed to providing high quality integrated health and social care for local people with mental health problems in South East London, and specialist mental health serves for people throughout the UK.
We are looking for an enthusiastic consultant with rehabilitation psychiatry expertise to join the Lambeth Alliance Rehabilitation Team (ART). ART and The Turrets are part of the Integrated Personalised Support Alliance (IPSA), which offers people who currently go into long-term, expensive hospital rehabilitation wards or registered care homes the chance to live more independently in their own flat in the community.
This post is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Lambeth Living Well Network Alliance, an innovative project to bring together those who use services, commissioners and providers to design, develop and deliver a new model of adult mental health services. IPSA is a unique partnership formed to deliver improved outcomes to people with complex mental health difficulties and high support needs in the borough, and brings together key partners from Lambeth Council, Lambeth CCG, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and two voluntary sector organisations, Certitude and Thames Reach.
This 6PA part time post has become available due to the existing consultant being appointed Clinical Director for the South London Partnership Complex Care Programme.
The interview process will include an assessment centre on the 4th June 2019 and an AAC panel on the 11th June 2019 - please keep both dates available as alternatives will not be offered.
