Consultant Cellular Pathologists Full Time 10 PA, Permanent

 

Consultant Cellular Pathologists /Histopathologists with interest in Dermatopathology, Gastrointestinal Pathology, Non-gynaecological cytology and Autopsy.

Applications are invited for two substantive consultant posts in the department of Cellular Pathology at Barts Health NHS Trust. These are replacement posts; one is a full time Dermatopathology job although there is potential for a possible second speciality. The second job is a mixed speciality job however applicants should have/ be prepared to develop specialist interests in at least one of skin and gastrointestinal pathology. Applicants with additional interest in non-gynaecological cytology and autopsy pathology are encouraged to apply. Applicants with an interest in Gynae pathology (including colposcopy) or Breast pathology may also be considered. The post is based in the state-of-the-art Pathology and Pharmacy building at the Royal London hospital in Whitechapel. Cellular pathology services are provided along specialist lines. The department provides a high quality service and the appointee will be a full and active member of the team.

Applicants are required to hold full GMC registration with a licence to practice and to be on the GMC’s Specialist Register or within six months of their expected date of receipt of a CCT at the time of interview.
