Gynaecological Oncology Consultant - Clinical Support and Specialised Surgery
Applications are invited for a full time Gynaecological Oncology Consultant post to primarily support the development of Specialised Gynaecological oncology, at the Christie NHS Foundation Trust.
The post will be based at the Christie and join four other NHS Gynaecological Oncology Consultants who have broad interests. Though this post is based at the Christie, the successful candidate will be expected to provide outreach clinics across the area of Manchester.
The Christie Hospital is the largest single site cancer hospital in Europe and serves a population of 3.2 million in the North West of England. The Trust comprises the Hospital (a designated teaching Hospital of the University of Manchester), the Paterson Institute for Cancer Research and North Western Medical Physics.
The recently completed Manchester Cancer Research Centre is a partnership between The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, Cancer Research UK, and The University of Manchester. The Trust is also partners with the Manchester Academic Health Science Collaborative (MAHSC) with excellent facilities to support an academic programme including clinical and laboratory research.
