Consultant in Geriatrics
Applications are invited for the posts of Consultant in Geriatrics, working for the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust, Cornwall.
The RCH team of Older People Services has recently been described by the National Frailty Network as ‘a great group of geriatricians who are making important steps towards improving an already first rate frailty service.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic and dynamic individuals who will enjoy helping us to grow and develop the Frailty Service, in particular the Older Persons Assessment and Liaison Unit (OPAL) and the Front-door Frailty Service in the Emergency Department at the Royal Cornwall Hospital.
We are seeking colleagues from a range of backgrounds – geriatrics, stroke, neuro-rehabilitation and neurology. Dual accreditation will be considered. We are also keen to receive applications from GP’s who are looking to further develop their acute or geriatric skills through additional sessions in the acute hospital or at one of the community sites.
There are opportunities to work in the acute and community hospitals, as well as a wide range of outpatient clinics, teaching and research. The posts can be tailored to your skills and interests.
