Locum Consultant in Medical Oncology
Applications are invited for a part time (6 PAs) Locum Consultant Medical Oncologist to commence as soon as possible for a period of one year in the first instance.
We are a committed team of Medical Oncologists, Clinical Oncologists, Radiographers and Physicists delivering comprehensive cancer care to our patients. The department has an enthusiastic research team and recruits to National radiotherapy and chemotherapy trials. We have an active AOS service with 3.5 WTE CNS members of the team. The Oncology department enjoys close links with the Haematology and Palliative Care services on the PCH site.
The successful applicants would be expected to specialise according to departmental need but special interests of applicants will be considered and some flexibility may be possible.
The post holder would be based at Peterborough City Hospital where there are many opportunities to be involved in teaching and research.
Peterborough is a pleasant East Anglian city with excellent commuting to all parts of the country, including a 50-minute train service to London.
