A Rare Opportunity for a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

The Child and Family Unit, located in the prestigious Starship Children’s Hospital, has a rare opportunity for a full time Consultant Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team.

Vacancies for Psychiatrists in this service do not come along often and we are seeking energetic, innovative and passionate applicants for this full time role.

The Child and Family Unit is the largest acute child and adolescent inpatient unit in New Zealand with 18 acute beds. The unit admits from the top half of the North Island, including the Midlands region, metro Auckland and Northland. In addition the CFU hosts the 3-bed Auckland metro Mother and Baby Unit. This presents an opportunity for a Psychiatrist to work across a variety of interesting sub-specialties.
