Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
Kettering General Hospital is an Acute General Hospital providing services to over 350,000 people with approximately 600 beds.
The Trust is going through a period of transformation and improvements will lead to a stronger focus on providing Safe and Compassionate care to our patients and this will give you the opportunity to learn, develop and expand your career. We believe that providing excellent education, training and development for our staff is essential. We offer a wide range of benefits, for example access to childcare vouchers, home-electronic scheme giving you discounted prices for home –electronics, salary sacrifice for cars and access to staff discount for local restaurants and gyms.
So while we aim to continue improving, you can improve your skills too - within a professionally challenging yet exciting environment.
This is an opportunity for an outstanding individual to enhance our service. This presents attractive job plans for consultant ophthalmologists. An interest in Primary Care ,Cornea, Medical Retina or Glaucoma would be desirable. The Job plan will initially contain cataract and general ophthalmology clinics and theatres with the emphasis being on the successful individual to work with the senior management team to grow their sub-speciality practice. We are happy for further links with teaching hospitals in Leicester and Addenbrookes to be developed and the department is supportive of proposals to expand the scope of services currently available. Support to develop the research interests of the department would also be desirable.
