Leckhampton Court is a historic medieval house set in the Cheltenham countryside. It has 16 in-patient beds, a thriving Day Hospice, active education programme and is a leader in hospice research. Recently, funding has been secured to expand the Hospice @ Home Team and create a 24/7 patient and carer advice line.
Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest hospital trusts in England, delivering services from two general hospitals in thriving Gloucester and beautiful regency Cheltenham. Gloucestershire has excellent transport links and stunning countryside, and was recently ranked in the top three places to live in the UK.

The specialist palliative care team is well established and well-regarded across the County and this post will optimise the team’s joined up approach.
The successful candidate will be encouraged to work with colleagues across the Trust to further develop services in both areas and to lead and participate in research projects. The Trust has a well-established and highly regarded Quality Improvement Academy and there are also opportunities for providing education.
The post includes a 1:4 on call commitment (2nd on) which attracts a category A availability supplement.
