Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applicants for a substantive Consultant Neurology post in our Neurology Centre. You will work with a dedicated team who strive to deliver an excellent service to patients and their families, and who are continually looking at ways in which to develop and improve our neurology service.
This post provides an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, dynamic and friendly team of Neurologists in Gloucestershire, who include the ex-president of the Association of British Neurologists, the current chair of the Specialty Advisory Committee and the regional lead for GIRFT. Current special interests include Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Headache and Education.
The appointee will take an active role in the Neurology service with full participation in cross-county clinical activities and teaching, and will work closely with our specialist teams in our dedicated brain injury, neurophysiology and neuropsychology units. The post will be based at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, a large District General Hospital; also providing clinical services at Cheltenham General Hospital.
